As New Year has begun so has the government’s initiative to curb unemployment. This is being done by promoting skill India programme on a huge scale. Indian government had launched several skill development programmes several years ago but the initiative does not seem to pick up the pace it was expected to run. To catalyse this skill development programme, government has partnered with several private project implementation companies. Bright Bharat is one of the private partner on which the government is counting upon. The Gurgaon based start-up has opened up various skill development centres all across India. The company aims to train rural youth and equip them with necessary skills that would help them get jobs.
