First, log into your ServiceNow instance. Once logged in, navigate to the PPM application by typing “Project” in the application navigator. This will display all related modules, such as Projects, Programmes, and Portfolios.
To start a new project, click on “Create New” under the Projects module.

You’ll be prompted to fill in various details about the project, including the project name, description, and the project manager. You can also set the project’s start and end dates, budget, and other essential details. After entering all required information, save the project record.

Next, you’ll want to set up tasks for the project. Within the project record, find the “Tasks” tab and click “New” to create a task. Assign a name, description, and owner to each task, and set its priority and due dates. You can also link tasks to milestones and dependencies to track progress effectively.
