Business Description

Education is termed as the key to success. This is the truth known to all of us. Even we have found the evidence of the teachings in the medieval period through paintings on walls, different stone structures, etc. In our country, education is worshiped well in the name of “Maa Saraswati”. We have always valued education more than anything. As there’s a saying, “No one can take your education and knowledge from you.”

Nowadays, there’s a situation of crisis due to COVID-19, and this created many barriers between learners and educators. Schools, where kids went daily, are now seeming to be very far and out of the reach of those kids. Kids may be going to lose their childhood, time, and rhythm. Hence, if kids are not able to go to school, it should be our responsibility to bring education to them.

Today we are living in 2020. We already escaped the industrialization period, now it is the era of technology and we are ready to counter this crisis. We should be bringing education to the homes of every child until it is safe to step outside. To do this, we have to introduce students to online learning.

Online learning has become a way to deliver learning remotely to those who are not able to attend the classroom physically. In some schools and universities, online learning is delivered through a Learning Management System(LMS) which allows instructors to add and create content, assignments, and activities that can be accessed by students with an Internet connection on mobile or a computer. However, online education can be provided in many other forms too with different approaches, but this is the most utilized way to achieve formal education and allow teachers and students to create a learning community.

Benefits of online learning:
Interaction: Increases student-to-teacher interaction and discussion, further it creates a better learning environment, increases active listening, and decreases passive learning.
Maximizes resources: Even opportunities for schools with small campuses. As they can enroll many more students without the need for actual infrastructure and help the students with low-income groups.
Innovation in teaching: There can be an increased number of activities that can be conducted online, students can adapt multiple learning styles.
More convenient: Students can access online from any mobile or computer. Students can have an adjustable schedule.
Better learning: Students can learn different life skills with online learning like self-discipline and time management.
Comfortable environment: Students who are shy from asking direct questions from teachers, now can easily put up questions.

The pandemic which we are facing today is affecting the education of students at a major level. We should be considering online education as a more relevant mode of learning. Since we never knew that this crisis would occur and disturb our lives, we also don’t know whether this can happen in the future. Hence, we should adopt online learning to ensure that education is not going to be affected if this situation occurs again in the future.
