These sarees are weaved in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India, utilizing a traditional weaving technique passed down through generations. Rajyalakshmi is now the face of the Banarasi silk saree label Rajyalakshmi Heritage Banaras Sarees. Rajyalakshmi began as a tiny home-based business in Hyderabad in 2016, and has since expanded to freestanding storefronts in Hyderabad's Banjara Hills and Bengaluru's Jayanagar.
