Phonologix is an assitive technology venture which was launched to provide access to quality speech therapy services to every child or adult in need, irrespective of where they are located.The rising prevalence of neurodevelopmental disorders like Autism Spectrum Disorder and other conditions that affect a child’s speech, language, and communication skills has been a major cause of concern in recent years. Among the many challenges families of these children face, the enormous challenge of gaining access to competent providers and high-quality services is the most prominent. While there is already a significant shortage in urban areas, the problem is only exacerbated in rural and isolated areas. This is all very disheartening when a good prognosis depends on early identification and intensive treatment.
The idea of launching a platform for online speech therapy in India developed from the challenges we faced during our more than two decades-long clinical practice. Many of our clients, who wished to continue therapies with us even after moving to other countries, also influenced our decision to launch Phonologix, an online platform for providing Speech Therapy and other therapy services. We have been successfully providing online therapies to many children and adults across the globe. We are currently providing therapy in 10+ countries and have conducted more than 25,000 online sessions until now.
