Oriental Engineering Works Pvt. Ltd. was founded in Lahore (now Pakistan) in 1938 with the goal of producing cold-start horizontal diesel engines. Following India's partition, the company was relocated to its current location. Later, the company shifted its focus to hydraulics, and it continues to produce high-pressure cylinders, pumps, and hydraulic systems.
