IMS DESIGN AND INNOVATION ACADEMY - DIA
Managed by IMS, Noida group, IMS-Design & Innovation Academy was established in 2005 in Noida with a vision to nurture and train professionals in Design, Fashion and Communication. DIA : The Design school is a premier venture of the IMS Education Society. The Academic advisors who guide and mentor curriculum and academic excellence at DIA are senior professors of NID Ahmedabad, IIM Ahmedabad, senior industry professionals and MICA.
DIA is one of the few design colleges in India which provides a degree and diploma. It awards dual certification, a Bachelor’s Degree recognised by UGC and a Higher National Diploma in various disciplines of design. All the programs culminate in a graduating show at the end of year and through out the year, the focus is on industry integration and academic growth of students through classroom connect, projects, workshops, trips, tours and seminars.
Associated with the Indian Design Association, IFFTI and many overseas institutes, DIA encourages its students to go beyond the course curriculum and participate in design competitions, exhibitions, events, conferences, seminars, research projects and student exchange programmes.
Qualified and experienced faculty from NIFT, NID, FTII, COA-Delhi and industry, an exclusive enclosed campus, infrastructure and laboratories that meet industry standards, supported by an extensive syllabus with a degree offers students a holistic design education.
Meritorious students are further motivated and exclusively trained through the Scholar programme to realise their creative aspirations. The Incu-bay, or Incubator, at DIA encourages students to pursue entrepreneurial ventures through a comprehensive business support programme. IMS- Design and Innovation Academy (IMS-DIA) was awarded the “Best Textile & Apparel Design Institute in Delhi-NCR” by the Times Research Education Excellence.
