Brisil has developed an innovative green technology to utilize rice husk ash, a fly-ash generated after using rice husk as fuel, to produce precipitated silica and highly dispersible silica for tyres, rubber products, paint, toothpaste, food and other industries.
Brisil's technology is a zero waste chemical process which uses rice husk ash as feed and produces precipitated silica and other by-products. The technology can extract up to 70% silica from the ash. It has already been commercialized and can produce silica for all major applications, including tires, rubber, footwear, paints, coatings, toothpaste, food & pharmaceuticals. Compared to conventional silica production technology, it requires significantly lesser energy making it a technology for better future. Highly dispersible silica & precipitated silica produced from our technology has already been validated by third party agencies & our clients.
