Amit Sarda, born in the year 1978 having done his schooling from Kolkata and then pursued his Master’s in Business Administration from De Montfort University, U.K. Amit Sarda has played the key role in taking his business to the new heights in real estate sector as well as jute manufacturing sector.
Amit Sarda has followed his father’s footsteps since the beginning of his career and has become a prominent name in the jute trading and manufacturing business. Having pursued his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from De Montfort University, Amit Sarda was keen on developing his own name in the industry and hence, he joined the business at an early age as he desperately wanted to transform his vision into reality. He had joined the Sarda Group with his father, Shri Govind Sarda. The Sarda Group of Industries is scattered all over the country and is headquartered in Kolkata. It was also the first business organization in India to set up professional training facilities for people working in jute mills. Till date, Sarda group employs thousands of people and is one of West Bengal’s largest employers.
Amit Sarda has been into Jute industry since several years and has also actively been into various other businesses. Shri Amit Sarda was involved in the development and Management of much of the realty sectors and other commercial fields in Kolkata along with his elder brother Mr. Aditya Sarda and his father Shri. Govind Sarda, one of the most eminent business tycoons in the country. Apart from the field of business, Mr. Amit Sarda had also contributed to the state in various forms of sports, social work and business. His work has been acclaimed and blessed by highly recognized personalities in the country.
