"My husband was an alcoholic who drank a liter of vodka a day and smoked a carton of cigarette a week. We only had one car, so I needed to drop him off at work each day. On this particular morning. I was so sleepy. My husband said he did not feel good and want to get out of the car. I have been a believer since I was sixteen and believe the things God give me. Then Jama said to me, pray for him before he goes. So I said, wait, let us pray. There are lots of first with God. As I prayed, I felt the virtue go out of me into him, and the Lord spoke to me and said, “now he is not going to remember that he was sick this morning, and then he said this, tell him to give up three days of no drinking”. so that evening when he came home, I asked how did he feel. He asked, why do you ask me that? I informed him how he was sick this morning...
He said, “Francis I forgot all about that, Just as God said he would. I told him what God had requested of him. He gave God those three days of no drinking, he went through sweats, shakes, no patch or pill to help him. Only obeying what God had given. He no longer drinks nor smokes, and is now a believer and working for the Lord as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, Usher. Prayer works.
