Agility health assessment is a single or multi day assessment of your existing AS-IS agility state. One or more consultant will be spending time with your teams, stakeholders and senior management covering some projects to get insights on current state of project activities and on awareness of Agile practices/methods for end to end delivery covering the following aspectsTeam Structure & Roles, Expectations, Challenges and Risks
Agile Project management practices and at high level on Engineering Practices
Tools related infrastructure
Brief review of Product Backlog creation/prioritization and User stories and their breakdown, estimation techniques followed
Metrics, Results, KPIs and Management Reports
Agility health reports will be shared post the assessment which will include project level findings along with a set of themes for improvement. It will also include a transformation plan that will guide all stakeholders to explore ways for effective implementation of recommended improvements based on business impact and project context
AGILE TRANSFORMATION JOURNEY
First step in any Agile Transformation journey is maturity assessment or Agility health assessment. What we need to find is at what stage is the team and the project and understand the business context. A diagnostic report is presented to the management post the assessment. Agile adoption roll out plan is discussed in depth and agreed with the leaders. Next step is to train leadership and teams on basic Agile fundamentals and contextualize with the business context. Everyone needs to have a common understanding and terminology. It’s now time to get the ball rolling on the ground and prepare for sprint facilitation, following is a sample roadmap :

This is followed by width and depth wise Roll Out. Width wise roll out is Agile at scale, done using specific framework (SAFe, Scrum and Scale, LeSS, Spotify etc) or a mix of methodologies as per the organization context. Depth wise roll-out means introducing Agile engineering and DevOps practices.
Agile COE creation with grooming of internal talent pool for various roles is done as a parallel process during the transformation journey once stabilization is achieved.

Certificate of Participation – A beginner level certification shared with team members undergoing the Agile adoption or transformation journey. Requirement :
Participant has to undergo the Agile adoption journey as part of the team
Demonstrate basic awareness about Agile mindset and culture
Know about Agile roles, ceremonies, artefacts and other basic concepts
Submit a write-up about their experience with the consultant, certification will be awarded on consultant discretion
Certificate of Experience – A mid level certification shared with practitioner facilitating the Agile adoption or transformation journey. Requirement :
Participant has to facilitate the Agile adoption journey as part of the team
Demonstrate clarity about Agile mindset and culture
Facilitate ceremonies, create artefacts, perform specific roles and lead change
Submit a write-up about their experience with the consultant, certification will be awarded on consultant discretion
Certificate of Excellence – Advanced level certification shared with practitioner leading and innovating along the Agile adoption or transformation journey leading to continuous improvement stage . Requirement :
Participant has to lead and innovate along the Agile adoption journey as part of the team
Demonstrate clarity about Agile mindset, culture and contexts
Facilitate ceremonies, create artefacts, perform and mentor specific roles and manage continuous improvement
Submit a write-up about their experience with the consultant, certification will be awarded on consultant discretion
Quick win Pilot
This is a blend of training workshop & hands-on coaching + Agile consulting of a few teams for a few weeks to kickstart the agile journey by solving the real problems and realising measurable improvements, It is primarily focused on remote contributions. While training creates awareness about the concepts, coaching intervention for a limited time ensures that teams implement the practices in projects.
