Having completed his graduation in BSBA from Boston University, Boston, USA, and Mr. Aditya Sarda made his foray into the family business, unaware of his potential as a tycoon in the making. He focused all his attention on expanding his business in the jute industry that had been India’s major export earner in the days of yore. The jute industry was a source of loss for employees, investors and all others involved. He began his career in the year 1999 with the launch of an AAA category Commercial Complex in Kolkata that later went on to become extremely successful project. His knowledge and expertise is commendable in diversified sectors like jute trading, real estate management, ultramarine blue manufacturing etc. Over the years there has been a steady demand of jute products in foreign countries. India is on top in exporting jute products and in the State of West Bengal a few organizations are working in an impressive manner, which is remarkable. This opportunity has opened wide gates for foreign exchange earnings by exports trade. Jute industry has played a great role in Indian economy by providing employment to many people. Diversified Jute products have been a major export participant in export sales, which fetched a good turnover. The jute industry provides 2.6 lakh jute mill workers directly and indirectly and more than a lakh of people are involved in the industry. There are presently 77 jute mills in India of which a major part falls in West Bengal alone. He has played a key role in Axis group’s overall success in various commercial fields focusing more on Real Estate and Mining. Mr. Aditya Sarda was appointed the Director of West Bengal State Warehousing Corporation appointed by the Central Government.
The well flourishing Chindwara Mines Private Limited (CMPL) was incorporated by Mr. Aditya Sarda and Mrs. Anu Kohli with the main objects of mining and related operations. The Registered office of the Company is situated at L1/9, Hauz Khas Enclave, New Delhi-110 016. The Company has acquired the Mine from the Collector of Mines, Chindwara (M.P.) for the mining of ‘Manganese Ore’ situated at Village Gowari Wadhona, Tehsil Sausar, District- Chindwara, Madhya Pradesh for a period of 20 years starting from 2007 / 2008. Presently, Mr. Aditya Sarda is the promoter of the company and a well established industrialist with a rich experience in fields of manufacturing, mining operations " marketing of similar products.
Mr. Aditya Sarda is currently the CEO of Axis Overseas Ltd. The company is engaged in the business of jute trading since 2007-08 and over a period few years the turnover has increased multiple times from a mere 15 crores in 2008 to approx 200 crores in the year 2015-16. Most of the raw materials being used are imported from Bangladesh. The company is not only successful in jute business but also in Real Estate business field. One of the company’s sub division is the the "Axis Infra Ventures" which deals in real estate market. Axis Group is one of the leading and premium Real Estate Developers in India.
